a little about me
From an early age, I played in my grandmother's victory garden, helped my mom grow tomatoes and herbs in pots, and assisted in her seasonal flower business learning about various annuals and roses along the way.
When my husband and I bought our first home, there was an amazing plum tree, a concord grape vine, a large old rosemary bush, roses & dahlias. That tiny city lot showed me how little space you need to create a garden. Today, we live on half acre growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, and a lot of flowers using organic gardening methods. I leverage our local farmers to fill in the gaps and enjoy the abundance this environment provides. In my spare time, you will find me in the small garage pottery space. There is something special in making the platter that is used to serve the meal created from items grown from seed in your garden. Simply put, I am most at home when my hands are busy creating - in the kitchen, in the garden, and in the studio. My hope is this work fuels your soul as much as it fuels mine.
