A little about seedlings



Dahlias have up to 64 chromosomes (vs. the human 46).

As a result, no two seeds are the same, and therefore no two plants.

The first blooms can be underwhelming so give the plants a little time to come into it's own.

By the end of the season, they’ll grow tubers that you can save to grow the exact same plant again.

Or if you don't want to dig and store them…

Cut the plants back in fall and cross your fingers that mother nature allows them to grow another year.
